Kampung Batik Kauman - Solo Spirit of Java

A few days ago, my-another-beautiful-bestfriend-since-high-school (?) and I

went to Solo for Akademi Berbagi at Kampung Batik Goenawan Setiawan Kauman.

Oh My God, I love this place.

There are batik home industry so that we can learn how the process of making batik.

Kampung Batik Kauman have historical building sites

like joglo, colonial, and mix of colonial and architecture of Java. Beautiful place.

Kampung Batik Kauman also inspires me how people have the determination

to preserve the culture in the middle of modernization.

I wish to make my own batik

when turning to the Kampung Batik Kauman, someday.
